Cancellation and refund policy
Last updated: 27 July 2026
This policy explains how you cancel what you buy from DigiNhance, when we refund, and when we do not. It applies to every purchase made through DigiNhance, including software subscriptions, one-off digital purchases, and studio project work. Please read it before you pay.
The short version. We sell software and digital services, so as a general rule payments are not refundable. You can cancel a subscription at any time and you will not be charged again. Your access stays live until the end of the period you already paid for, and we do not refund the unused part of that period. We do make exceptions, and the exact cases are listed below in "When we do refund".
What you are buying
DigiNhance sells two kinds of things, and the rules differ slightly for each.
- SaaS and digital products. Software you access on a subscription (monthly, annual, or another recurring term), and one-off digital purchases. Access is provisioned to you immediately after payment, which means the service is delivered the moment you pay.
- Studio project work. Design, development, and AI implementation work we do for you under a quote, proposal, or statement of work. This is custom, time-bound work made specifically for you.
Cancelling a subscription
You can cancel at any time. There is no cancellation fee, no notice period, and no phone call to sit through.
- Cancel from your account billing settings if your product has them, or email us at hello@diginhance.com from the address on the account and we will cancel it for you.
- Cancellation stops the next renewal. It does not trigger a refund of the current period.
- Your access continues until the end of the billing period you have already paid for. After that it ends and no further charges are taken.
- To avoid being charged for the next period, cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date. Renewals that have already been processed are treated as a completed charge for the new period.
- We will confirm the cancellation by email. If you do not get that confirmation, assume the cancellation did not go through and contact us.
If you bought a subscription to one of our iOS apps through the App Store, Apple is the merchant of record for that purchase. Cancel it in iPhone Settings under your name, then Subscriptions, and request any refund from Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. We cannot cancel or refund an Apple purchase on your behalf.
Our general position on refunds
We do not offer refunds as a matter of course, and we want to be upfront about why rather than bury it. Software and digital services are delivered instantly and consumed as you use them. Once you have had access to the product, that access cannot be returned. Studio work consumes hours that cannot be recovered once they are spent. So:
- Subscription fees already paid, including a renewal you forgot to cancel before it processed, are non-refundable and non-transferable.
- We do not pro-rate or partially refund an unused part of a billing period.
- We do not refund because a plan went unused, because you changed your mind, because your project or company changed direction, or because you did not get around to using the product.
- Downgrading a plan takes effect at the next renewal. We do not refund the difference for the current period.
- Setup fees, onboarding fees, implementation fees, and deposits are non-refundable once that work has started.
None of this removes any right you have under applicable consumer law. Where the law in your country gives you a refund right that is stronger than this policy, the law wins and we will honour it.
When we do refund
Exceptions exist, and we would rather list them plainly than have you guess. We will review and, where the case holds up, issue a full or partial refund in these situations.
Billing and payment errors
- Duplicate charge. You were charged twice for the same subscription period or the same purchase. We refund the duplicate in full.
- Wrong amount. You were charged more than the price you agreed to. We refund the difference.
- Charged after cancelling. You cancelled in time and were billed anyway. We refund that charge in full.
- Unauthorised charge. Someone used your card or account without permission. Tell us and tell your bank. We refund once we confirm it and we will help with the investigation.
- Accidental purchase. You bought the wrong plan or bought twice by mistake and tell us within 48 hours, before meaningful use of the service. We will usually refund or move you to the right plan.
Service problems
- Never delivered. You paid and your access was never provisioned, or the product was never made available to you. We refund in full.
- Broken and unfixed. A defect makes the core function of the product unusable for you, you reported it, and we could not fix it within a reasonable time. We refund the affected period.
- Extended outage. The service is materially unavailable for a prolonged stretch of a billing period through our fault. We refund or credit that period on a pro-rata basis.
- We discontinue the product. If we shut a paid product down mid-term, we refund the unused portion of what you paid.
Discretionary cases
Beyond the list above, we look at genuine, exceptional circumstances one by one. If something happened that clearly is not right, write to us and explain it. We read every request from a real person, not a script, and we would rather do the fair thing than defend a technicality. A discretionary refund is granted at our sole discretion, is decided case by case, and granting one does not commit us to granting another.
Studio project work
Custom project work runs on its own terms, and the quote or statement of work you sign takes priority over this section if the two ever disagree.
- The deposit reserves your slot in the build schedule and covers discovery. It is non-refundable once we begin, because that time is blocked out for you and turned away from other work.
- We bill in milestones. Completed and delivered milestones are non-refundable.
- If you cancel mid-project, you pay for the work completed and any non-cancellable third-party costs already committed on your behalf. Anything you have prepaid for milestones that have not started is refunded.
- If we cancel the engagement or cannot deliver, we refund everything you paid for work that was not delivered.
- Third-party costs we pass through, such as domains, hosting, app store fees, licences, and API credits, are not refundable once they are purchased, because we cannot recover them ourselves.
Free trials
Where a product offers a free trial, you are not charged during the trial and you can cancel at any point before it ends at no cost. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, the subscription begins and the first payment is taken. That first charge is treated like any other subscription payment under this policy. We will tell you the trial length and the price that follows before you start it.
How to request a refund
Email hello@diginhance.com with the subject line "Refund request", from the email address on the account. Include:
- The name on the account and the email address it uses.
- The product or plan, and the date and amount of the charge.
- The receipt number or the last four digits of the card, so we can find the payment.
- What went wrong, in your own words, with screenshots or error messages if you have them.
Please send the request within 7 days of the charge you are asking about. We can still look at older requests, and often will, but claims raised long after the fact are harder for both of us to verify.
We acknowledge every request within 2 business days and give you a decision within 7 business days. If we need more information to make the call, we will ask, and the clock restarts when you reply.
How approved refunds are paid
- Refunds go back to the original payment method. We cannot send a refund to a different card, account, or person.
- We process approved refunds within 5 business days of approving them.
- Your bank or card issuer then takes its own time to post the money, usually 5 to 10 business days, and sometimes longer for international cards. That part is outside our control.
- Refunds are made in the currency you were charged in. If exchange rates moved, the amount that lands in your account may differ slightly from the amount you paid, and we cannot cover that difference.
- Bank charges, currency conversion fees, and payment gateway fees applied by your provider are not refundable by us.
- Where a refund is issued, any access, licence, or deliverable tied to that payment ends on the refund date.
Price changes and renewals
If we change the price of a subscription you are on, we will tell you by email before it takes effect and you will have the chance to cancel before you are charged the new amount. A price change never applies retroactively to a period you have already paid for.
Chargebacks
If you think a charge is wrong, please contact us before you raise a chargeback with your bank. We can usually sort it out faster than the dispute process can, and often on the same day. Raising a chargeback without contacting us first may lead to your account being suspended while the dispute is open. We respond to disputes with our transaction records and, where a chargeback is filed in bad faith on a service that was delivered, we will contest it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our products change. The version published on this page at the time of your purchase is the one that applies to that purchase. When we make a material change, we update the date at the top and, for active subscribers, tell you by email.
